Force retains Lewis for 2021 NBL1 North season

The Ipswich Force have re-signed superstar Amy Lewis for the 2021 NBL1 North season.

Lewis will be entering her third straight season with the Force and has become an integral piece of Ipswich’s women’s squad. She averaged 22.0 points, 7.3 rebounds and 6.2 assists in the 2020 QSL campaign and will be looking to replicate that level of production in NBL1 North.

Force coach Brady Walmsley is thrilled that Lewis is returning to the team.

“Retaining Amy was one of our major off-season priorities,” Walmsley said via the team’s Facebook page.

“As evident by her remarkable performance in the QSL in 2020, Amy is as valuable to her team as any player in the league. Amy is an exceptional leader, a great teammate and we are fortunate she will be back in green for NBL1 in 2021.”
