The South East Melbourne Phoenix have re-signed emerging big Tristan Forsyth as a development player for the 2021/22 NBL season.
This will be Forsyth's second season in Phoenix colours after featuring in four games last season.
In the off-season, Forsyth represented Waverley in NBL1 South.
From 11 games, the 23-year-old averaged 13.45 points and 6.54 rebounds per game.
He also shot at 55.66 percent from the field.
Forsyth said he was excited to continue his development as a Phoenix player next season.
"I learnt so much last year and to continue that transition into this year is going to be awesome," he said.
"I’ve improved my mobility, basketball IQ, and my strength and athleticism.
"I’ve been working alongside Creeky (Mitch Creek), Dane (Pineau), Gibbo (Adam Gibson), Kyle (Adnam)…they’ve all helped me improve my game and prepare to make the jump to a roster spot next season.
"I want to be the best teammate I can be on and off the court.
"I want to make that roster spot next season and help the team get to another finals run and even a championship game."
