Amy Lewis’ 32-point performance helped propel the Ipswich Force over the Brisbane Capitals in a thriller, 79-76. Georgia Ralph (16 points, seven rebounds) and Catherine MacGregor (13 points, eight rebounds) were also key contributors for Ipswich.

Meg Essex was outstanding for Brisbane with 26 points and 11 rebounds while Emma Read posted 18 points.

In the other women’s final, the Gold Coast Rollers took easy care of the RedCity Roar by recording a 97-62 win. Skye Mason’s 21 points were the most for the victors while Siarn Woods (14 points, seven rebounds, five assists) and Carleigh Patrick (14 points, six rebounds) provided strong support.

Gold Coast will now face the Southern Districts Spartans in the semi-final, while the Force will play the Logan Thunder. Both semi-finals will take place on Friday night.

The Sunshine Coast Phoenix upset the Spartans in the men’s league, as they advanced to the semi-finals with a 107-96 win. As he has all year, Jamaal Robateau provided the offensive spark for the Phoenix with 31 points and eight assists.

It was a balanced effort from Sunshine Coast as Jonathan Janssen had 17 points and eight rebounds, Zane Meehl poured in 18 points and Nelson Kahler doubled-up with 16 points and 11 rebounds.

Tyrell Harrison was Southern Districts’ best with 19 points and 10 rebounds.

An unstoppable performance from Jason Cadee helped the Brisbane Capitals defeat the Thunder 117-98. Cadee was sensational with 43 points, eight assists and six rebounds as his red-hot form continues.

Nicholas Stoddart had a big game for Brisbane with 24 points, as did Timothy Soong who stuffed the stat sheet with 18 points, 14 rebounds and seven assists.

In their final game of the season, Logan had big efforts from Chris Cedar (33 points, 10 rebounds), Thomas Ammar (20 points) and Mitch Young (17 points, eight rebounds).

The results set up two mouth-watering semi-final battles, as Sunshine Coast will face RedCity and Brisbane will play Ipswich. Both semi-finals will take place on Friday night.
