Fui and Trego sign with Logan

The Logan Thunder have signed Tyrone Fui and Reegan Trego for the 2021 NBL1 North season. 

Both Fui and Trego are Logan juniors who have developed through the Thunder pathway and will this season spend time transitioning into the NBL1 program with bright futures ahead. 

The talented duo recently won the U21 SQJBC Championship with the U21 Logan Thunder men and previously won a Bronze medal at the 2020 U18 Queensland State Championships with the U18 Logan Thunder men, playing alongside NBL1 teammate Tane Kirisome. 

Trego has previously represented New Zealand at the U15 FIBA Oceania Cup. 

He is a point guard who uses his strength and quickness to be a tough perimeter defender at the senior representative level. 

Fui's length and athleticism allow him to defend, rebound, slash and attach the rim. 

With continual development, both players' best basketball is yet to come.
