Coming off another selection for the Queensland state team in the U20s National Championships, Hillary Fuller is set for her biggest NBL1 season yet with the Brisbane Capitals.

Last season she averaged six points for the Capitals, finishing with a season-high of 16 points against the Ipswich Force.

The Capitals junior moved to Queensland as a teen, explaining that the club has become home.

“Playing for the Brisbane Capitals has become a home to me, I’ve grown up with these amazing people and I couldn’t image playing somewhere else,” she told Rookie Me Central

“This year we have a new coach and a completely different looking team, which I’m really excited about.”

The team has added two young guns to the roster alongside Fuller, bringing in NBL1 North champion Georgia Dale and fellow Queensland representative Lil Dart.

The 17-year-old has her full career ahead of her, hoping to represent Australia and she'll be taking her first step towards it in June -- with the start of her collegiate career at Belmont University.

“It’s always a dream of mine to be able to represent Australia again… I can’t wait to see where [College] takes me in my basketball career.”

The NBL1 North starts on April 11th, streaming live and free via NBL1.com.au or the NBL1 App.
