Godinet, Hunter join Pirates for NBL1 North

The South West Metro Pirates have announced the signings of Alec Godinet and JaKobe Hunter for the upcoming NBL1 North season, tipping off next Thursday. 

Godinet has a great inside and outside game with a sweet three-point shot. 

Hunter also has similar basketball traits and a great overall game. 

He crosses over to the Pirates from the Cairns Marlins, who he played for in the QBL. 

Last season, Hunter ventured south to play for Toowoomba in the QSL1 competition where he averaged 17 points per game. 

The Pirates begin their 2021 NBL1 North season on Saturday 15 May against the Southern Districts Spartans.
