Kiriau joins South West Metro

The South West Metro Pirates have signed Kayla Kiriau for the 2021 NBL1 North season.

Kiriau, born in Wellington New Zealand, attended Point Park University in Pittsburgh, part of the NAIA. While she played there the team were three-time River States conference champions.

Since 2017, Kiriau has played QBL averaging 11 points, 4.0 assists and 5.0 rebounds in her last QBL season for Gladstone in 2019.

South West Metro’s season begins on May 15 against the Southern Districts Spartans.
