Kirisome remains in Logan

The Logan Thunder have announced the return of Tane Kirisome for the 2021 NBL1 North Season.

The Logan Thunder have announced the return of Tane Kirisome for the 2021 NBL1 North Season.

Kirisome made his international debut last Saturday night as a member of the New Zealand Tall Blacks and became the 11th Logan Thunder international representative.

Kirisome has come through Logan’s pathway and began playing Thunderball in 2007. His talent, character and strong work ethic have seen him represent Queensland as a junior and be awarded the Logan Thunder junior male player of the year award twice.

Kirisome joined Logan’s Senior Representative program last season as a member of the Thunder’s men’s Queensland State League team who lost in the finals to eventual champions Jason Cadee and the Brisbane Capitals.

Kirisome will take on a bigger role this season as another Logan Junior transitions into the senior representative program.
