Obi Kyei will return to the Logan Thunder for the remainder of the 2021 NBL1 North season.

Obi Kyei will return to the Logan Thunder for the remainder of the 2021 NBL1 North season.
The 6'8 athletic forward from Sydney previously played for the Thunder in 2018, averaging 20 mpg, 9 ppg and 2 apg.
Kyei will join the Thunder this Saturday for the Round 7 NBL1 North clash with Jason Cadee and the Rollers.
Kyei will bring size, athleticism, toughness and a competitive boost to the Thunder front court as they look to remain undefeated in the NBL1 North.
Kyei has played for the Adelaide 36ers in the NBL and also professionally in Europe following graduating from Eckerd College in 2017.
Kyei and the Adelaide 36ers mutually agreed to a release in 2020 for him to return to Sydney to focus on his business interests.
"It feels like a long time coming and I'm super excited to be coming back up to Logan and contributing that excitement and energy on the court.
"I enjoyed every minute of my time with the Thunder family last time I was there and I'm stoked to see everyone soon."
The Logan Thunder Men have made a strong statement to the NBL1 North through the first six rounds and will look to continue their unbeaten start by adding Kyei to their front court.
