NBL1 Coles Express National Finalist Leah Scott has moved over to the South West Metro Pirates for NBL1 2023.
One of the superstars for the Wildcard Series winners the Southern District Spartans, Scott was outstanding in her NBL1 2022 campaign averaging 18.5 points and 7.8 rebounds per game.
Scott was the second leading scorer for the 18-3 Spartans and was named to the Coles Express All-Star Five for the Nationals Finals, where she averaged 26.3 points against the best teams in the country.
Scott joins American head coach Derrick Washington Jr. as the women’s Pirates signings so far for NBL1 2023.
