Macgregor To Take QSL Confidence Into NBL1 North

Ipswich Force youngster Catherine Macgregor says she will take the confidence she has gained from the QSL season into next year’s NBL1 North campaign.

Macgregor has been one of the main beneficiaries of the extended opportunity granted to her in the QSL, averaging 15.3 points and 5.7 rebounds per game.

She is looking forward to taking that form into the preseason and eventually the 2021 NBL1 North season.

"I'm trying to put down a bit of a footprint to make an impact,'' Macgregor said, via The Queensland Times.

"Hopefully I can get recognised for next season (and) get into the squad for NBL1.

"Knowing that I can perform against better players, like NBL players and players that have had international experience, has definitely given me a bit of confidence, especially these last couple of games.''

Ipswich battles the Logan Thunder in the QSL semi-final on Friday night.
