Malou joins Mackay

The Mackay Meteors have announced the signing of Emmanuel Malou for the 2021 NBL1 North season. 

Malou joins the squad fresh off representing the South Sudan National Basketball team at the 2021 FIBA AfroBasket Qualifiers in Tunisia. 

2021 marks the 206cm forward's second season in the NBL1, having spent 2019 with the Albury Wodonga Bandits. 

Malou also spent some time in the Iran Superleague representing Rafsanjan in its 2020-21 season. 

The Meteors open the NBL1 North season in an away clash against Townsville on Friday 14 May.
