Manylok Malek added to Ipswich roster

Returning from the Goldfields Giants in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia, Manylok Malek has signed for the Ipswich Force in the NBL1 North.

Malek is coming off a successful campaign in the State Basketball League, averaging 21 points and six rebounds per game. 

He is an NBL-ready talent and will be looking to make his mark on the NBL1 North Competition in 2021.

Malek is also focused on bringing his athletic and powerful game back to the region and is hungry for success.

Ipswich Head Coach Christopher Riches is excited to see what Malek can bring to NBL1 North in 2021. 

"Mayo will be a key player for Ipswich in the 2021 season," Riches said.

"He brings a great work ethic and formidable physical presence to court and has already left a positive impression on his teammates."
