WOMEN

Ipswich Force (64) def by Logan Thunder (80) 

A closer game than the score might indicate, Ipswich were nevertheless unable to claim the win here, going down by 16 points. 

Mikaela Ruef was the standout for Logan, a 22-point 19-rebound double-double with five assists and four steals en route to the win. 

Ipswich had four double-digit scorers, led by Amanda Cahill with 19, but the Thunder proved too good for the Force.

Northside Wizards (54) def by Townsville Flames (101)

Nothing short of a complete demolition job by Townsville in this one, claiming a 47-point win against Northside, including a 59-22 second half. 

Alanna Smith was the game’s best, scoring 37 points on 77.3% shooting, while Stephanie Reid contributed 24 points of her own. 

For the Wizards, Shyla Heal led the team with 17 points, but Northside were no match for the Flames.

MEN

Ipswich Force (84) def by Logan Thunder (104)

Despite a late surge from Ipswich, Logan had this game fairly in control, able to claim a 20-point victory.

Jeremy Kendle was amazing for the Thunder, scoring a game-high 35 points to go along with six rebounds, seven assists, and four steals. 

Isaac White led the Force with 26 points, but they were not able to claim a win. 

IPSWICH 84 (White 26, Goldfinch 17, Lincoln 13) 

LOGAN 104 (Kendle 35, Young 20, Bach 16)

 

Northside Wizards (80) def by Townsville Heat (84) 

This game came down to the final few possessions, but the Heat were able to show their resolve, clinging to a four-point win. 

Ethan Betts was the leading scorer for Townsville, 20 points to go along with seven rebounds, four assists, and four steals. 

CJ Massingale led all scorers with 22, but the Wizards didn't quite have enough to claim the win.
