In some mid-week hoops, the rescheduled game between the USC and the Rollers gave us an excellent Wednesday night clash between the top four sides. Read how the game went below:

USC Sunshine Coast (96) def Gold Coast Rollers (86)

USC took down the top of the ladder Gold Coast Rollers 96-86, without their star defender Wani Swaka Lo Buluk, who missed the game as he is on Australian Boomers duties.

The star of the night was USC’s Kouat Noi, he finished the game with 34 points and nine rebounds in taking down the NBL1 North’s best side. Isaiah Teuta also had 18 points, 11 assists and 5 rebounds.

It was a close game throughout the entire 40 minutes, with the Rollers’ Jason Cadee scoring 20 points and dishing nine assists – supporting his Brisbane Bullets teammate Tanner Krebs all night with spectacular dimes. Krebs finished with 16 points.

The difference in the game was the playmaking, the Sunshine coast handed out seven more assists than the Rollers. USC is a threat to win the North if they play like this when Swaka Lo Buluk returns.
