NBL1 North Recap: Round 11 - Sunday July 10

In a Gold Coast v Logan double-header this Sunday, it was Logan who came out on top, winning both games, with both teams topping triple digits.

WOMEN

Gold Coast Rollers (48) def by Logan Thunder (103) 

A complete annihilation from Logan in this game, beating Gold Coast by 55 points. 

The Rollers were led by Sarah Heard, Gold Coast’s only player in double figures with 10. 

Logan had four players score at least 15 points, led by Mikaela Ruef with an obscene 15 point, 25 rebounds, and 10 assist triple-double. 

GOLD COAST 48 (Heard 10, Norris 9, Peacock 7)

LOGAN 103 (Bowyer 20, Taia 18, Barnett-Keresom 16) 

MEN

Gold Coast Rollers (83) def by Logan Thunder (101)

A rough loss for the Rollers here, going down by 18 points despite an incredibly impressive offensive performance from their starting unit. 

Preston Le Gassick led the Gold Coast with 23 points, while Donovan Mitchell had a 16-point, 18-rebound performance with three blocks. 

But it was Logan who were better on the day, with five players in double figures led by Rasmuch Back with 22.
