Gold Coast Rollers (61) def by Logan Thunder (80)

A game with three super close quarters, this one was determined by the 22-7 third quarter in favour of Logan, who claimed the 19-point victory.

Mikaela Ruef continued her dominance, 25 points and 27 rebounds as well as six assists for Logan.

Angela Lou Beadle was the leader for Gold Coast with 14 points and 10 rebounds, but the Rollers could not get it done.

GOLD COAST 61 (Lou Beadle 14, Heard 12, Peacock 11)

LOGAN 80 (Ruef 25, Paalvast 16, Taia 15)

Northside Wizards (81) def by Southern Districts Spartans (93)

A game jam-packed with huge performances, three players topped 30 points across both teams, with Southern Districts coming out on top.

Shyla Heal led Northside, scoring 34 points to go along with eight rebounds, three assists and two steals.

For the Spartans, it was Nadeen Payne and Madelyn Allen combining for 63, Payne adding 17 rebounds.

NORTHSIDE 81 (Heal 34, Mangakahia 16, Parker 14)

SOUTHERN DISTRICTS 93 (Payne 33, Allen 30, Scott 16)

USC Rip City (65) def by Ipswich Force (100)

Not much of a contest in this game, with the Force claiming a 35 point win over Rip City.

Amanda Cahill led the force, doing a little bit of everything as she compiled a 22 point, six rebound, eight assist, three steal and one block statline.

Ashley Arlen led Rip City and the game with 25 points, but this being more than a third of her team’s points meant they got washed away.

RIP CITY 65 (Arlen 65, Smith 14, Hughes 7)

IPSWICH 100 (Cahill 22, Hay 19, Wragg 17)

Red City Roar (96) def by SW Metro Pirates (99)

It took going to overtime, but the SW Metro Pirates have their first win of the season, taking down Red City by three.

The Pirate’s big three were phenomenal, with only 13 of the 99 points coming from players not named Bride Kennedy-Hopoa (34), Catherine MacGregor (28) or Stephanie Bairstow (24).

Mia Loyd was colossal in her own right, a 32-point 15-rebound double-double with eight assists and three steals, but SW Metro had just a little bit more to give in this one.

RED CITY 96 (Loyd 32, Cooper 22, Moorer 19)

SW METRO 99 (Kennedy-Hopoa 34, MacGregor 28, Bairstow 24)

Sunshine Coast Phoenix (70) def by Townsville Flames (89)

This was a Townsville win that had the potential to be much larger, saved by a 23-12 fourth quarter thanks to the Phoenix.

Amy Browne led for the Sunshine Coast, scoring 22 points and dishing eight assists.

Stephanie Reid shone for the flames, scoring a game-high 24 points, as well as nine assists, six steals and five rebounds as her team claimed the 19-point win.

TOWNSVILLE 89 (Reid 24, Woods 21, Fabbro 12)

Darwin Salties (85) def by Mackay Meteorettes (91)

A slow start let the Salties down here; after a 12-19 first quarter they would not lose another quarter by more than one point, losing what unfortunately could’ve been a close game.

Five Mackay players hit double figures, led by Alisia Jenkins with 18 points, nine rebounds, four assists and two steals.

Ruby Porter led all scorers with 23 points, with the Salties desperately wishing they would’ve had a more competitive first quarter.

DARWIN 85 (Porter 23, Waters 22, Heard 16)

MACKAY 91 (Jenkins and Bobongie 18, Rees 16)

North Gold Coast Seahawks (60) def by Brisbane Capitals (71)

A strong third quarter got Brisbane the win in this game, outsourcing North Gold Coast 24-12 in a game that saw only one point of difference over the other three.

Abby Cubillo led for the Capitals, with 19 points, seven rebounds, five assists and 3 steals.

Two separate Seahawks also scored 19 - Katelyn Donovan and Isalys Quinones - but 0 bench points over the entire game meant that the team was always going to struggle.

NORTH GOLD COAST 60 (Donovan and Quinones 19, Cliney 13)

BRISBANE 71 (Cubillo 19, Corke 16, Cameron 14)

MEN

Logan Thunder (90) def by Gold Coast Rollers (102)

A solid win from the Rollers here, thanks to the heroics of Jason Cadee.

Cadee had a phenomenal 43-point performance, as well as 10 assists.

Jeremy Kendle led for the Thunder with 25 points, but they didn't have enough to claim the win.

LOGAN 90 (Kendle 25, Young 23, Kyei and Bach 13)

GOLD COAST 102 (Cadee 43, Krebs 27, Patterson 10)

Southern Districts Spartans (82) def by Northside Wizards (99)

This was an impressive win from the Northside Wizards, thanks to Anthony Drmic's 28 points and 24 from Mitch McCarron.

Jalen Canty was the standout for the Spartans with 23 points and 10 rebounds, but he couldn't stop his team from going down

SOUTHERN DISTRICTS 82 (Canty 23, McDowell-White 18, Cedar 10)

NORTHSIDE 99 (Drmic 28, McCarron 24, Diing 21)

USC Rip City (72) def by Ipswich Force (87)

15 points separated these teams come the final buzzer, due to an overwhelming offensive performance from Ipswich.

Every single Ipswich starter scored at least 13, led by Majok Deng with 21-points and 13-rebounds.

Eric McAlister led Rip City with 16, not enough for a team trying to win a game.

RIP CITY 72 (McAlister 16, Tueta 15, Noi 12)

IPSWICH 87 (Deng 21, Pwono 19, White 16)

SW Metro Pirates (63) def by Red City Roar (86)

A powerful win from the Roar in this game, taking down the Pirates by 23 points.

Spencer Parker was terrific, 30 points and 11 rebounds, as well as two blocks.

Brendan Teys was the top Pirate's scorer with 18, as they went down.

SW METRO 63 (Teys 18, Young 12, Gordon 9)

RED CITY 86 (Parker 30, Larkins 17, Hodgson 12)

Townsville Heat (83) def by Sunshine Coast Phoenix (88)

This game was a close one, with both teams propped up by two dynamic scorers.

For the Heat, Matthew Rees and Richard Peachey shone, 25 and 22 points respectively.

But for the Phoenix it was Jamaal Robateau and Jonathon Janssen with 28 and 22 who propelled their team to victory.

TOWNSVILLE 83 (Rees 25, Peachey 22, Wattie and Todd 8)

SUNSHINE COAST 88 (Robateau 28, Janssen 22, Aver 11)

Darwin Salties (87) def by Mackay Meteors (98)

Makuach Maluach was the star for the Salties with 36 points and 13 rebounds, with four assists and two steals.

But for Mackay it was Jaylin Galloway who stood out, with 27 points, five rebounds, two assists, two steals and two blocks.

DARWIN 87 (Maluach 36, Jamerson 18, Dufelmeier 13)

MACKAY 98 (J. Galloway 27, Bayles 20, K. Galloway 19)

Brisbane Capitals (76) def by North Gold Coast Seahawks (92)

The Seahawks claimed a 16-point win in this one, the Capitals lacking the firepower to compete with their opponent.

Aiden Krause had 30 points for the Seahawks, while Jordan Hunter recorded a triple-double and flirted with a 5x5 game - 11 points, 15 rebounds, 10 assists, five blocks and three steals.

Lachlan Dent was Brisbane's top performer, 16 points, six rebounds, six assists and two steals, but North Gold Coast were simply too good on the night.

BRISBANE 76 (Dent 16, Soon 14, Bior and Kopcikas 13)

NORTH GOLD COAST 92 (Krause 30, Mudronja 24, McVeigh 14)
