Red City Roar (61) def by Brisbane Capitals (75)

After scoring just eight points in the first quarter, the Capitals were able to flip this game on its head, holding the Roar to 22 second-half points en route to a 14-point win.

Mia Loyd was phenomenal for Red City, scoring 25 points and grabbing 16 rebounds, but her lack of support was evident with only one other player in double figures.

Brisbane had a much more balanced scoring approach, with five players scoring at least 11 points led by Tyler Stolberg with 16.

RED CITY 61 (Loyd 25, Sarra 11, Moorer 8)

BRISBANE 75 (Stolberg 16, Woodford 13, Cubillo and Cameron 12)

Sunshine Coast Phoenix (41) def by Ipswich Force (71)

A defensive masterclass from Ipswich to hold Sunshine Coast to just 41 points in this game, winning by 30.

Only two Phoenix players scored in double digits, Caitlin Clancy with 16 and Amy Browne with 13.

For Ipswich, Amanda Cahill led the way, scoring 23 points and grabbing seven rebounds.

SUNSHINE COAST 41 (Clancy 16, Browne 13, Byrne and Whittet 3)

MEN

Red City Roar (79) def by Brisbane Capitals (100)

A hefty win from Brisbane in this game, taking down Red City by 21 points thanks to the play of Max Mackinnon and Lachlan Dent.

Mackinnon and Dent both scored in the twenties - 26 and 21 respectively - while Dent also had six rebounds and six assists.

Jayden Hodgson led the Roar with 18 points, but they did not have enough to compete with the Capitals.

RED CITY 79 (Hodgson 18, Croff 16, Godinet 12)

BRISBANE 100 (Mackinnon 26, Dent 21, Volkman 16)

Sunshine Coast Phoenix (85) def by Ipswich Force (100)

Despite taking a half-time lead, the Sunshine Coast Phoenix could not hold on as the Ipswich Force blasted out 61 second-half points to take the win.

Majok Deng was sensational for the Force, scoring a game-high 31 points and grabbing a game-high 12 rebounds as his team won by 15.

Jamaal Robateau led the Phoenix with 20 points, but they were playing uphill the entire second half and could not get it done.
