Gold Coast Rollers have outscored Ipswich Force 25-2 in the final quarter to run away with a 78-54 victory to round out the opening weekend of the NBL1 North Women at Carrara Stadium on Sunday.

Gold Coast Rollers have outscored Ipswich Force 25-2 in the final quarter to run away with a 78-54 victory to round out the opening weekend of the NBL1 North Women at Carrara Stadium on Sunday.
Rollers guard Lauren Mansfield scored 11 of her game-high 27 points in the fourth quarter, including three of her five three-pointers for the game.
A one-point game heading into the last quarter, the Rollers went on a 14-0 run to lead 67-52 at the 4:47 mark.
Gold Coast centre Caitlin Cunningham and guard Carleigh Patrick each scored 13 points while Force guard Amy Lewis was Ipswich’s top scorer with 21 points.
The Rollers outrebounded their rivals 58-39, including 20-8 on the offensive end. Cunningham (10 rebounds) and forward Casey Samuels (13 rebounds) led the way for the home side.
