Logan Thunder 94 def Ipswich Force 37

Logan centre Miklaela Reuf put in an unstoppable performance in the Thunder’s 94-37 victory over Ipswich Force at Bendigo Bank Cornubia Park Sports Centre on Sunday.

Reuf made 14 of 19 field goals on her way to a game-high 32 points and was dominant on the boards with 18 rebounds. The 191cm American, who plays for the Canberra Capitals in the WNBL, also registered three steals and two blocks.

The Thunder offence had plenty of options behind Reuf as the backcourt of Carla Drennan (16 points) and Ashley Taia (14 points) joined forward Indiah Bowyer (13 points) with double digits.

Logan guard Mikaela Cann enjoyed the options at her disposal as she dished up 10 assists.

The Force continued to fight with their best performance in the final quarter, but the road team were outplayed in all the major statistics including 41-55 rebounds and 8-25 assists.
