Dandenong Rangers (77) def by Mt. Gambier Pioneers (92)
Despite falling by 15, the Dandenong Rangers put up quite a fight in their game against Mt. Gambier, lead by Luisa Fakalata with 26 points off the bench.
For the Pioneers, they had all five starters in double figures - two of which hit at least 20 - and this offensive unit was simply too powerful to overcome.
Three Rangers starters also had double figures, but they weren’t enough to scrape a win.
DANDENONG 77 (Fakalata 26, Harmon 16, Potter 13)
MT GAMBIER 92 (Brown 24, Calleia 20, Howe 14)
Melbourne Tigers (48) def by Nunawading Spectres (85)
An absolute demolition job was waiting for the Melbourne Tigers today, as the Spectres down them by 37 points.
The Tigers only managed one scorer in double figures - Tess Heal with 14 - as the team clearly lacked firepower.
In comparison, the Spectres had six double-digit scorers, Cassidy Mihalko most impressive with 15 points, seven rebounds, four steals and three assists.
MELBOURNE 48 (Heal 14, Hooper 8, Giddey 7)
NUNAWADING 85 (Mihalko 15, Kunek and Mullings 13)
Diamond Valley Eagles (69) def by Waverley Falcons (74)
This game came down to the final possessions, with the Falcons just able to edge out the Eagles in the battle of the birds.
Diamond Valley were led by Kate Oliver’s 27 points, eight rebounds, six assists, three steals and three blocks.
But Waverley had three starters in double digits, and this combined effort was just enough to get the win.
DIAMOND VALLEY 69 (Oliver 27, Byrnes 13, Burrows 9)
WAVERLEY 74 (Mokrzycki 17, Cole 16, O’Reilly 12)
Sandringham Sabres (57) def by Frankston Blues (81)
This was an easy win for the Blues, taking down the Sabres by 24 points thanks to their spread-out scoring.
Frankston had all five starters in double figures, led by Darcee Garbin with 17 points.
Georgia Pineau led all scorers with 20 points, but they did not have enough to make it a competitive game.
SANDRINGHAM 57 (Pineau 20, Jarry 13, Nakkasoglu 11)
FRANKSTON 81 (Garbin 17, D’Angelo 16, Gaze 13)
MEN
Dandenong Rangers (89) def by Mt. Gambier Pioneers (99)
The Pioneers claimed a big win here, thanks to the big play of Nick Marshall.
Marshall had a game high 35 points and 13 rebounds, as he lead his team to a dominant offensive performance.
Dandenong played well, with Davison and King-Hawea combining for 50, but they were seemingly the only players who were able to fill it up.
DANDENONG 89 (Davison 26, King-Hawea 24, Eales 12)
MT GAMBIER 99 (Marshall 35, Harris and Kubank 17)
Waverley Falcons (86) def by Diamond Valley Eagles (89)
A game chock-full of star power, this was a contest that came down to the final possession, with the Eagles just able to hold on.
Waverley were pushed by their big three - Kernich-Drew, Lewis and Forsyth all scoring at least 20 points - but only 17 from the rest of their roster is what saw them fall short.
Diamond Valley had much more of a supporting cast, lead by the 23 points of Joel Capetola.
WAVERLEY 86 (Lewis 25, Forsyth 23, Kernich-Drew 21)
DIAMOND VALLEY 89 (Capetola 23, Reynolds 18, Manyang 17)
Sandringham Sabres (68) def by Frankston Blues (93)
A Lachlan Barker masterpiece was at the heart of this Blues win, going for 37 points and nine rebounds as his squad took down the Sabres by 25 points.

SANDRINGHAM 68 (Smith-Milner 22, Okwera 14, Gabsch 11)
FRANKSTON 93 (Barker 37, Trist 16, Stith 13)
