The QSL regular season came to an end this weekend as NBL1 North players dominated across the competition.
The standout performer in the men’s division this weekend was Brisbane Capitals and Bullets star Jason Cadee, who tallied 47 points, 11 assists and five rebounds in his club’s 133-89 victory over the Southern Districts Spartans.
In the women’s league, Mikhaela Cann’s triple double headlined the weekend’s action as she had 19 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists. Cann’s big effort saw the Logan Thunder demolish the Northside Wizards 114-55.
Here are some of the other best NBL1 player performances from round 10 of the QSL.
WOMEN
Carleigh Patrick – Gold Coast Rollers
Patrick doubled up in the Rollers’ win over the Toowoomba Mountaineers with 14 points and 10 rebounds.
Lilly Rotunno – Gold Coast Rollers
One of Queensland’s most talented youngsters, Rotunno had 15 points in Sunday’s win over the Ipswich Force.
Chevannah Paalvast – Logan Thunder
Paalvast played one of her best games of the season on Saturday night with 23 points and 10 rebounds in the win over Northside.
Danielle Bayes – Logan Thunder
Another Thunder player who closed the regular season in style was Bayes with 25 points.
Amy Browne – Sunshine Coast Phoenix
A 20-point performance from Browne helped lead the Phoenix over the South West Metro Pirates 63-55.
Bree Farley – South West Metro Pirates
Farley has been a picture of consistency for the Pirates this season and that continued on Saturday night with 22 points and 10 rebounds.
Liisa Ups – USC Rip City
Ups had a big double-double of 14 points and 15 rebounds in USC’s win over the North Gold Coast Seahawks.
Ashleigh Blake – USC Rip City
Another Rip City player who recorded a double-double was Blake who posted 14 points and 10 rebounds.
Rachel Mate – Ipswich Force
Mate ended her strong regular season with 24 points and six rebounds against RedCity Roar and 16 points against Gold Coast.
Amy Lewis – Ipswich Force
Lewis had a pair of 20-point games for Ipswich this weekend, while also adding eight rebounds in the loss to the Rollers.
Natalie Taylor – Southern Districts Spartans
The Spartans recorded a big win over the Capitals and Taylor led the way for the victors with 19 points.
Kalani Purcell – Southern Districts Spartans
Purcell doubled-up in Southern Districts’ victory with 18 points and 12 rebounds.
Rebecca Haynes – Southern Districts Spartans
Another Spartan who tallied a double-double was Haynes with 14 points and 12 rebounds.
Emma Read – Brisbane Capitals
Read was Brisbane’s leading scorer with 15 points against Southern Districts.
MEN
Joseph Johnson – Toowoomba Mountaineers
Johnson had his best game of the season on Saturday night with 21 points and eight rebounds.
Brent Wallace – Gold Coast Rollers
Wallace showed out on Saturday night with 23 points and 18 rebounds.
Jaze Morris – Gold Coast Rollers
Morris ended his regular season on a strong note this weekend with 22 points against the Mountaineers.
Jalen Patton-Croker – Gold Coast Rollers
Patton-Croker delivered 19 points and six rebounds for Gold Coast on Saturday night.
Tidjane Diop – Gold Coast Rollers
Diop led the way for the Rollers on Sunday afternoon with 18 points and nine rebounds.
Boston Mazlin – Logan Thunder
Receiving an increased opportunity this weekend, Mazlin took full advantage with 23 points in a win over Northside.
Jamaal Robateau – Sunshine Coast Phoenix
Robateau capped off his impressive regular season in style with 35 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists on Saturday night.
Jonathan Janssen – Sunshine Coast Phoenix
Janssen doubled up in Sunshine Coast’s victory over South West Metro with 24 points and 11 rebounds.
Nelson Kahler – Sunshine Coast Phoenix
One of the Phoenix’s most consistent players all season, Kahler recorded 14 points and 12 rebounds on Saturday night.
Max Kerle – South West Metro Pirates
Kerle led the way for the Pirates this weekend with 25 points.
Louis Ilton – USC Rip City
Even though USC suffered a tough loss to North Gold Coast, Ilton had a strong individual performance with 21 points and eight rebounds.
Nathan Sobey – Ipswich Force
After scoring 50 points last weekend, Sobey recorded 31 points, eight assists and seven rebounds on Saturday night and 22 points and six rebounds on Sunday.
Jesse Ghee – Ipswich Force
Ghee’s recent hot streak continued this weekend as he had 16 points on Saturday and 15 points and 10 rebounds on Sunday.
Callum Dalton – Southern Districts Spartans
Dalton led the way for the Spartans this weekend with 25 points.
Jarred Bairstow – Brisbane Capitals
Bairstow has had an impressive campaign and that continued on Saturday night as he tallied 24 points and eight rebounds.
