Dandenong’s Nyadiew Puoch, Ballarat’s Georgia Amoore and Forestville’s Isabel Borlase are all projected to go in the first round this coming draft.
Nyadiew Puoch (Ranked 7th)
Last season Puoch was an outright star of the NBL1 South conference, averaging 24.4 points, 7.9 rebounds, 2.4 assists 1.5 steals and 1.1 blocks per game for the 10th placed Rangers.

She has been dominant in the WNBL for several seasons, just recently being named to the Team of the Week after she had 17 points and nine rebounds against the Bendigo Spirit this past round.

Isabel Borlase (Ranked 12th)
Borlase has become a hot commodity after her major NBL1 campaign in 2022. With Basketball Australia Centre of Excellence, Borlase put herself on the radar with multiple major performances against powerhouse clubs in the NBL1 West’s Willetton Tigers and the Joondalup Wolves.

She averaged 13.5 points, 5.3 rebounds and 2,6 assists for the CoE in 2022, then signed with the Forestville Eagles in 2023 -- where she played two games for the club.
Her NBL1 success led her to the WNBL, where she has become the second-leading scorer on the Adelaide Lightning and one of Australia’s next-best prospects.
Georgia Amoore (Ranked 9th)
After averaging 11.2 points, 3.2 assists and 2.6 rebounds for the Ballarat Miners back in the competition's inaugural season, Amoore has become one of the stars of the women’s college basketball scene.

Last season she was second in three-pointers made and is currently averaging 17.1 points, 8.4 assists (second highest) and 2.9 rebounds for the Virginia Tech Hokies.
