Papacostas joins Brisbane

The Brisbane Capitals have announced the signing of Geordan Papacostas for the 2021 NBL1 North season. 

Papacostas is a Brisbane junior and recently represented Queensland at the U18 Australian Junior Championships, where he averaged 18 points and eight rebounds per game. 

He also shot at 50 percent from the field. 

In the SQJBC, he had nine 20+ point performances, including a huge 50-point game against the Logan Thunder. 

Papacostas is an asset to the club and will debut for the NBL1 Capitals when they take on Northside on Saturday,
