Perry Lakes announce first NBL1 West signings

The Perry Lakes Hawks have announced their first signings for the 2021 NBL1 West season, with Ben Purser (men) and Annika Renkema (women) returning to the club.

Purser has played 326 games for the Hawks and is a home grown junior from the club. In the 2020 West Coast Classic (WCC), Purser averaged 16.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 4.6 assists per game for Perry Lakes. He also was a development player for the Perth Wildcats from 2011-2013.

Renkema has played 152 games for Perry Lakes and is the co-captain of the club. She is set to play a key role for the club in the inaugural NBL1 West season.
