Pirates sign Parker sisters

The South West Metro Pirates have signed the Parker sisters, Emily-Kate and Isabelle, for the 2021 NBL1 North season.

Emily-Kate has been part of the Pirates’ QBL program since 2018. She left at the beginning of last year to go to college in the US playing for the North Dakoda State College. Unfortunately, due to COVID, she returned home which have paved the way for her to play for South West Metro.

Isabelle has been playing college basketball in the US since 2017. She played at University of Pacific for two years then moved to the University of California where she played until early this year when she too returned home due to COVID. Standing at 188cm tall she will be a dominant force in the paint.

The Pirates begin their NBL1 North season on Saturday May 15 against the Southern Districts Spartans.
