Pirates welcome back King for 2021 NBL1 North season

The South West Metro Pirates have signed Tylah King for the 2021 NBL1 North season.

King, a Brisbane State High graduate, represented Queensland in U18 and U20 state teams before heading to California to play division one college basketball for the University of the Pacific.

King played for the Pirates QBL team in 2019 averaging eight points, four rebounds and three assists per game, while also winning the Best Defensive Player award for the season.

She is South West Metro’s first announced women’s player signing for the new season.
