Ralph re-joins the Force in 2021

The Ipswich Force have announced the signing of guard and co-captain Georgia Ralph for the 2021 NBL1 North season.

Ralph has become synonymous with Ipswich Basketball, having played at the senior level for the previous four years. She is originally from Townsville, where she played her junior career for the Flames, whilst representing Queensland North at Australian Junior Championship competitions.

Ralph also attended Cal State LA University and Valley City State University during her collegiate career in the USA.

“I am really pleased to have Georgia return to our team for NBL1 North in 2021,” coach Brady Walmsley said.

“Georgia is an integral part of this group’s identity, holds a very important voice in the locker room and our relationship played a major factor in me agreeing to come to the club.

“Georgia is a proven elite shooter, who opponents are hesitant to help off. She has a high basketball IQ and is a good team defender.

"However, I genuinely believe 2021 will be her best season so far and I am confident that our style of play will lend itself to even greater production.”

Ralph averaged 13 points and six rebounds in the 2020 QSL season.
