RedCity Roar adds tall timbers Crowe and Wallace to its roster

The RedCity Roar has acquired the services of Donovan Crowe and Brent Wallace for the upcoming NBL1 North season.

The RedCity Roar has acquired the services of Donovan Crowe and Brent Wallace for the upcoming NBL1 North season.
Crowe, 20, comes from the powerhouse Cairns Marlins and Taipans programs and has also had experience at the Australian Championships.
The power forward/ centre will fit in seamlessly at the Roar, having already played alongside teammate Kian Dennis in numerous state teams throughout his junior career.
Standing tall at 205cm, Crowe is a high-IQ player with great hands and vision, as well as impressive agility for a big man.
The Torres Strait Islander is highly rated internally and will undoubtedly make an impact in the upcoming season.
Crowe will partner with 211cm Wallace in the Roar’s backcourt, which will pose a threat to other NBL1 North opponents.
Wallace is a former Carmel College student and has played at NBL1 level with Rockhampton, Bundaberg and Northern Gold Coast.
He also spent a year in the NBL with the Townsville Crocodiles.
The Roar kick off their 2021 NBL1 campaign away against the Logan Thunder at 8pm on Saturday 15 May.
