Seebohm and Betts join Townsville

Jaimee Seebohm and Ethan Betts have signed with Townsville for the 2021 NBL1 North season. 

Seebom began her career as a professional basketball player in 2005, attended the Australian Institute of Sport for three years and then played for the Sydney University Flames in the WNBL. 

She has also represented Australia at a junior level and is currently teaching. 

Betts is coming off a 20-game season for the Heat in 2019, where he averaged 7.8 points from 23 minutes. 

He also attended Umpqua Community College in the 2017-18 season. 

Townsville begins its NBL1 North campaign at home against Mackay on Friday 14 May.
