With a starting back court of Bruce and Jeremy Kendle, the Thunder men will have one of the best back court combinations in the NBL1 North in 2021. Bruce will join the Thunder at the conclusion of the Sydney Kings 2021 NBL campaign.
“Brucey is one of the best teammates I was fortunate enough to play with in the National Basketball League,” Logan GM Mitch Young said.
“As well as being a great teammate, he is a great person. Recruiting a superstar who has such a high level of character is incredible for our program.
“The flow on effect to our younger developing players on our roster such as Tane Kirisome, Boston Mazlin and junior Thunder representative players, who will be fortunate to be able to learn from Bruce during his time with the Thunder.
“Bruce is an elite point guard who can run a team, score, defend, create and will make everyone else on our roster instantly better. We feel that the pairing of Bruce and Jeremy Kendle in our backcourt will give us the best backcourt in the league.
“Our Thunder fans will be able to see two of the best perimeter players in the league and two genuine NBL stars in a high octane Thunder line up unlike anything before.”
