Two-time NBL champion Jordan Hunter has returned to the North Gold Coast Seahawks for the 2024 NBL1 North season.
He last played for the Seahawks in 2022, averaging 19 points and 13.3 rebounds for the club in 13 games. While in NBL24, he became the Sydney Kings’ starting center after multiple seasons coming off the bench for the likes of former NBA player Jarell Martin and Brazilian national team representative Tim Soares.
The Kings' big man had a breakout year, making his first Boomers team in the past month and showing promise as a do-it-all piece to Australia’s qualification for the Paris Olympics.
Seahawks head coach Colby Stefanovic expressed his excitement about the signing.
"To have a player of Jordan’s calibre come and sign with us is fantastic,” he told the Seahawks
“I’m looking forward to working with him this season, and our fans will be excited to have him back."
