Teige and David Morrell to depart Tigers

The Southern Tigers have announced that NBL1 Central MVP Teige Morrell and NBL1 Men's head coach David Morrell will be departing the club. 

After almost two years with the Tigers, the Morrells are now moving interstate to tackle their next challenge. 

When reflecting on their time at the Tigers, David said: "I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity given to me by the Southern Tigers two years ago, and for all the relationships Teige and I have built with the Tigers family along the way.

"It truly has felt like family every step of the way, and there will be so many people we dearly miss. 

"My hope is that we've made some impact in our time here at the club, and that the juniors and NBL1 groups will both have big success to come. 

"Thank you again to all the coaches in the club that were so great to work with. 

"And thank you to the whole Tigers family! 

"This is an amazing club and your support has been overwhelming."
