Three-peat hero Haynes re-signs with Spartans

The Southern Districts Spartans have acquired the services of Bec Haynes for the 2021 NBL1 North season. 

Haynes has been a vital member of the Spartans’ attack for the past three years, helping lead the Southern Districts to an impressive three-peat in the Queensland Basketball League. 

The small forward also has experience with Rockhampton and the Canberra Capitals in the WNBL. 

She joins the likes of current Capitals star Maddison Rocci as well as Townsville’s Nadeen Payne and Melbourne’s Kalani Purcell on the Spartans’ roster for the upcoming NBL1 campaign. 

The Southern Districts tip-off for season 2021 against the South West Metro Pirates away at 6pm on Saturday 15 May.
