Townsville signs pair of youngsters

Townsville has signed a pair of youngsters for the 2021 NBL1 North season with Aliza Fabbro (women) and Richard Peachey (men) joining the club.

Fabbro is no stranger to the Townsville basketball community having played for the Fire’s WNBL team for the past two seasons. She also represented the Flames in the 2018 and 2019 QBL campaigns.

Peachey is one of Queensland’s most talented rising youngsters and has been named to the state’s U20 team.

Townsville’s NBL1 North campaign tips off on Friday May 15 against rivals Mackay.
