Watson signs with Bandits in NBL1 South

The Albury-Wodonga Bandits have announced the signing of Sharif Watson for the 2021 NBL1 South season.

In the 2019 Waratah League, Watson played for the Newcastle Hunters and impressed by averaging 18.4 points and 10.0 rebounds per game.

“I am excited to have signed and be part of the Bandits family,” Watson said.

“The coaching staff and team are very professional. This season with this group should be a special one.

“We have all the tools we need to be successful this year in the NBL1 South. I personally can’t wait to get started on the pursuit of a big year for us.”

The Bandits have signed Watson, Bailey Lloyd, Jacob Cincurak, Josh McKay, Bijan Johnson, Jack Saunders, Mitchell Dance, Liam Wright and Johnny Crnogorac for the upcoming season.
