Youngsters remain in Mackay

Mackay Basketball have announced a pair of youngsters will return this season with Denesha Bobongie (Meteorettes) and Sean Baker (Meteors) re-signing.

Following her outstanding 2020 CQ Cup campaign where she took home League MVP honours, Bobongie is ready to take her game to a new level in NBL1 North. She joins Cayla George and Chelsea Brook on the Meteorettes’ roster for 2021.

Barker is another local Mackay baller looking to make an impact at NBL1 level. He joins a Meteors team that includes Brad Rasmussen, Chris Cedar, Kye Medhurst, Freddy Webb, Lachlan Inkson, Riley Inkson, Max Cain and Aidan Collins.
