Rockhampton Cyclones 87 def Cairns Dolphins 67

Rockhampton Cyclones claimed their first NBL1 North victory with an 87-67 win over Cairns Dolphins at Bravus Arena on Sunday.

The Cyclones were led by Annaliese Watkinson (25 points) and Lara McSpadden (23 points) for a combined 55% of the home side’s offence.

McSpadden (pictured) pulled down 16 rebounds to register her 11^th double double of the season.

The Cyclones (10 of 22 three-pointers) outshot their opponents (6 of 23 three-pointers) from the perimeter, as Watkinson (4 of 10), Tori Rouse (2 of 3) and Brandi Leal (3 of 4) found their range.

The Dolphins main contributors were Felicity Crotty (16 points), Myra Donkin (14 points), Emma Toombs (11 points), and Leichan Williams (10 points).

The Cyclones (1-13) are in 13^th place, one back from the Dolphins (1-12).
