Bertram provides boost for Redbacks' roster

The Perth Redbacks have announced the re-signing of young gun Lachlan Bertram.

Bertram averaged 4.16 points, 1.16 assists and 2.41 rebounds from 24 games this NBL1 West season.

Speaking about Bertram's signing, Redbacks NBL1 Director Nathan Barns said: "It's fantastic news that Lachie has committed to the Redbacks for another year.

"I'm looking forward to him progressing into a consistent scorer for us and he is a very important part of our team.

"Can’t wait to see LB in action in 2022."

Perth NBL1 Head Coach was similarly thrilled to have Bertram back: "We are excited and committed to our Redbacks youth.

"LB is a talented young player with the offensive skills to be an explosive scorer.

"He is a valuable part of our program and we are very happy to have him back on board."
