Coming off an injury-plagued season with the Brisbane Bullets in NBL23, Walker is back for the 2023 NBL1 season healthy and on fire.
He's leading the NBL1 West in scoring with 27.1 points per game, dropped a 50 piece and has led the reigning champs, the Rockingham Flames, to an 8-2 record at the end of Round 8.

On SEN, Cotton said the Perth Wildcats' import search should stay close to home and they should seriously consider the 2022 NBL1 West MVP and Grand Final MVP.
“What he brings to the NBL level with his size and his ability to shoot – I think we could definitely use that with some of the pieces we’ve lost. I think he can come in, fill that role and space the floor for guys like myself and Corey,” Cotton said of Walker.
“To be able to play alongside a guy like that who is basically a brother to me, that would mean everything.
“To play on a team together and hopefully win a championship together if he ends up on our team would be a true blessing.”
The Flames will defend their Coles Express NBL1 National Championship from August 18-20 in Western Australia, Joondalup.
