Fraser joins MacGregor in moving from Ipswich to South West Metro

The South West Metro Pirates have added Alana Fraser to its 2022 NBL1 North women's roster.

Fraser has played for Queensland North State teams and in NBL1 North for Ipswich last year.

Pirates women's coach Brad George said he looked forward to seeing what Fraser could do in a purple singlet next season.

"Alana’s athleticism and her relentless effort on the defensive end makes her a key addition," George said.

"Her ability to defend full court and anticipate the play adds valued depth to the team."
