Blicavs becomes a Supercat

The Geelong Supercats have re-signed superstar Steph Blicavs to its roster for the 2021 NBL1 South season.

The Geelong Supercats have re-signed superstar Steph Blicavs to its roster for the 2021 NBL1 South season.
Blicavs has played high-level basketball since 2019 and most recently represented the WNBL championship-winning Southside Flyers in 2020.
The 178cm guard has also featured with the Adelaide Lightning and the Dandenong Rangers at the highest level.
In her most recent stint representing Australia, Blicavs averaged 8.7 points from six games at the FIBA Asia Cup in 2017.
Her resume says it all, having been a three-time WNBL champion (2012, 2015 and 2020), WNBL Defensive Player of the Year (2016), SEABL MVP (2015) and a two-time representative in the All-SEABL Women’s team (2013 and 2015).
Blicavs and the Supercats begin their NBL1 campaign at the State Basketball Centre against the Knox Raiders on the blockbuster season-opening night of Saturday 17 April.
