The Bendigo Braves have signed Jacob Foy and Jess Mangan ahead of the 2021 NBL1 South season, tipping off next Saturday.
Foy stands at 196cm tall and averaged 9.2 points and 5.2 rebounds per game while at Hawaii Pacific University.
The former NSW representative will pull on the Bendigo Braves jersey as a versatile guard for this NBL1 South season.
Foy will be a valuable asset with his ability to rebound at both ends of the floor as well as having the ability to hurt oppositions offensively.
Mangan is no stranger to the Bendigo Braves, having played all of her junior basketball career in a Braves uniform.
Aging out of the Victorian Youth Championship Women's team at the end of the 2019 season, Mangan has established herself as an important factor in the senior Braves team.
This season will be Mangan's fourth with the senior team, however, it will be her third as a full-time rostered player.
Mangan stepped up to the plate on many occasions in previous seasons when the team was in need of a tall, athletic contributor.
