McDonald, Vanderzaag sign for Waverley

The Waverley Falcons have signed Callan McDonald and Jackie Vanderzaag for the 2021 NBL1 South season, beginning next Saturday. 

This season will mark McDonald's first as a Falcon while Vanderzaag will suit up for her fifth year. 

She most recently played 12 games for Waverley in the 2019 season, before the 2020 season was halted due to the COVID-19 pandemic. 

McDonald joins Michael Harper, Bennie Lewis, Dean Neville, Dylan Larkin, Andrew Noller and Dexter Kernich-Drew on the NBL1 Men's roster while Vanderzaag complements the likes of Kelly Bowen, Renae Mokrzycki, Lisa Ewin, Mia Parsons, Samantha Donald in the Women's line-up.

The Falcons tip-off for NBL1 South next Saturday against the Kilsyth Cobras.
