Norwood Flames vs Woodville Warriors (Kayo Game of the Week)
Four in a row Flames hold off spirited Warriors
The Flames have won four in a row as held off a spirited Warriors outfit 87-66 at the Firedome. It was thanks largely to a second half of 14 points from Molly Coleman who finished with a career high 24 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists in the absence of Ally Wilson (Australia 3x3 Camp). Brooke Basham celebrated her elevation to Adelaide Lightning WNBL player with a game high 26 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists while youthful Chelsea Apacible and Alek Akeun stepping into the Wilson void with 10 points a piece and Akuen 7 rebounds. Eliza Joynes had a standout game for the Warriors with a career high 21 points and 7 rebounds while Regan Tunour-McCarty had 14 first half points to finish with 16 and 5 rebounds. The Flames forced the Warriors into 21 turnovers and dished 31 assists in the game defining numbers.
Forestville Eagles vs South Adelaide Panthers
Splash with Osk second half ice Eagles
The Panthers have retained equal top of the table thanks to a stellar second half defensively and on the scoreboard as they iced the Eagles 83-91 at the Nest. With the Eagles leading 50-38 at the half, Ash “Splash” Spencer dropped 21 second half points to finish with 28 points and along with import Isa Osk Sigurdardottir who amassed a season high monster of 21 points and 16 rebounds; downed the Eagles. Bella Stratford set up the Eagles first half with a career high 26 points at 64 percent while Sam Simons finished with 15 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists but their team were dented shooting 35 percent in the second half as the Panthers defence took over.
West Adelaide Bearcats vs Sturt Sabres
Rintala rises Bearcats to equal top with stirring win over Sabres
The Bearcats have risen to equal top once again with a stirring win over the Sabres 80-63 and claimed the split at the Bearcat Cave. Jennie Rintala finished off the away side with 11 of her 25 points (including 3-3 from beyond the arc) in the final term along with 11 rebounds and was the pivotal player in a tight contest where the biggest lead until the third quarter was 5 points. Madelynn Utti was influential again with 18 points and 9 rebounds while Jasmin Fejo continued her Halls like run with another solid all-round performance of 16 points, 7 assists and 5 steals. Mikayla Williams led the way for the Sabres with 18 points and 13 rebounds and along with Zoe Walker-Roberts (14 points and 7 rebounds) and Meg Prosser (13 points and 5 rebounds) kept the Sabres in it till the Rintala rollover took place.

Daggers of Dumesny arrest Mavs season slide
A career high and near triple double from young guard Chloe Dumesny was just the tonic the Mavs needed to arrest their season slide as they won their second game of the season 100-78 over the Lions at the Shooting Gallery. It was 7 of 11 beyond the perimeter for 28 points, 9 rebounds, 8 assists and 7 steals that helped lead her side to a 34-22 second quarter over the shocked Lions. Not to be outdone import Oksana Gouchie-Provencher had her season best too with 27 points and 11 rebounds while Brigitte Lefebvre-Okankwu chalked up 21 points and 5 steals and Taylor Moffat who is college bound dropped 17 points and 6 assists. It took till halfway through the third quarter but Casey Samuels finished in a blaze of 15 minutes with 28 of her 37 points with 6 triples, 9 rebounds and 5 assists coming in a last stanza rush but it wasn’t enough to run the homeside down after being well held.
North Adelaide Rockets vs Southern Tigers
Mollie does Tigers favour and flattens Rockets
A masterclass from Mollie McKendrick did the Tigers a big favour pushing them back into the top five and flattening the Rockets 58-72 at the Launchpad. McKendrick moulded a solid 21 points and 6 rebounds as she helped the Tigers to a 0-15 run in the second quarter despite the best efforts of Rockets import Peyton Taylor. Taylor dropped 21 as well along with 8 rebounds to be one of the games best while Tigers import Jaedyn De La Cerda showed size doesn’t matter yet again with a double double of 14 points and 13 rebounds.
