WOMEN
Ballarat Miners (87) def by Bendigo Braves (96)
A fairly close game between Ballarat and Bendigo here, as the Miners go down by nine points.
Despite the loss, Zitina Aokuso shone for the Miners, scoring 24 points and grabbing 10.
But it was Bendigo’s Tess Madgen who was the game's best player, scoring a game-high 30 points to go along with nine assists and six rebounds.

BENDIGO 96 (Madgen 30, Wehrung 20, McKay 18)
Keilor Thunder (58) def by Knox Raiders (64)
Despite starting the game with a 22-9 first quarter, the Keilor Thunder were able to continue this momentum to a win, going down by six points thanks to a 19-7 fourth quarter.
Alicia Froling was the standout for Knox, recording a 21-point, 16-rebound double-double.
Aneta Bandilovska was the leader for Keilor with 17 points and 14 rebounds, but the Thunder only having six available players eventually took its toll.
KEILOR 58 (Bandilovska 17, Garrick 14, Wynd 12)
KNOX 64 (Froling 21, Quirk and Dawson 10)
Dandenong Rangers (46) def by Eltham Wildcats (84)
This was an annihilation by Eltham, downing Dandenong by 38 points thanks to a triple-double from Anneli Maley - 13 points, 15 rebounds, and 11 assists.
Dandenong struggled mightily for scoring, Gemma Potter the only Ranger in double figures with 14 points.

ELTHAM 84 (Leidel 18, Campbell 15, Maley 13)
Melbourne Tigers (59) def by Frankston Blues (72)
This game had a close first half before the Blues came out firing in the third quarter, outscoring the Tigers 29-10.
Kate Gaze and Darcee Garbin were instrumental in the Blues' win, each going for 22 points.
Lily Carmody was Melbourne’s best with 16 points, but the Tigers didn’t have enough to get over the line.

FRANKSTON 72 (Gaze and Garbin 22, D’Angelo 11)
Mt Gambier Pioneers (64) def by Waverley Falcons (70)
In a game that was incredibly close throughout, the Waverley Falcons held on to take the six-point win.
Rebecca Cole had a monster game, with 31 points, eight rebounds, three assists, three steals, and two blocks.
Cassandra Brown led the Pioneers with 18 points and 13 rebounds, as Mt Gambier fell just short of the victory.

WAVERLEY 70 (Cole 31, Mokrzycki 18, Locandro 8)
Casey Cavaliers (68) def by Geelong Supercats (72)
In another close one, this time it was Geelong who held on to claim the win, trumping Casey by four points.
Sara Blicavs was great as ever, with a 24-point 18-rebound double-double, while Sarah Elsworthy had 14 and 10.
It was another Sarah - this time Boothe - who led the Cavaliers, as she dropped 23 points and nine rebounds.

MEN
Keilor Thunder (71) def by Knox Raiders (85)
This could have been a much closer game, if not for a 21-6 first quarter that saw Knox take the lead that they would hold for the rest of the game.
Reuben Te Rangi led the Raiders with 19 points, while fellow starter Alex Robinson had 17.
Keilor’s Jacob Lampkin had a big game, with 19 points and 12 rebounds, but the Thunder couldn’t bounce back from the initial punch Knox threw.

KNOX 85 (Te Rangi 19, Robinson 17, Shelley 16)
Bendigo Braves (88) def by Ballarat Miners (98)
This was a solid win for Ballarat, taking down Bendigo by 10 points.
Two Bendigo players hit the 20’s, Kuany Kuany and Luke Rosendale with 24 points and 22 points respectively.
But Koen Sapwell was the player of the game, with 31 points for Ballarat, while
Nicolas Pozoglou had 12 points, 14 rebounds, six assists, five steals, and two blocks.

BALLARAT 98 (Sapwell 31, Dunmore 18, Bungei 15)
Melbourne Tigers (61) def by Frankston Blues (105)
This was a complete demolition job from Frankston, taking down Melbourne by 44 points.
Frankston had three players in the twenties, led by Igor Hadziomerovic with 24.
Felix von Hofe was Melbourne’s top scorer with 14, but the Tigers put up no fight as the Blues rolled over them.

FRANKSTON 105 (Hadziomerovic 24, Barker 23, Trist 21)
Mt Gambier Pioneers (86) def by Waverley Falcons (93)
In a back and forth game it was Waverley who prevailed in this once, taking down Mt Gambier by seven points.
Three Falcons starters scored at least 18 points, led by Bennie Lewis who had 20.
The Pioneers’ top scorer also hit 20, Tom Kubank, but Mt Gambier weren’t able to take the win.

WAVERLEY 93 (Lewis 20, McDonald 19, Dillon 18)
Geelong Supercats (95) def by Casey Cavaliers (100)
Despite a strong fourth quarter from Geelong, they weren’t able to claim the win, as Casey earned a five-point win.
Isaac Turner led the scoring for Geelong, with 25 points, while Gabriel Hadley joined him with 22.
However, Casey’s scoring output was that much better, led by William Hickey who came off the bench for 29 points, six rebounds, three assists, and three steals.

Dandenong Rangers (78) def by Eltham Wildcats (82)
This was a close one, with the Eltham Wildcats able to edge out Dandenong by just four points.
The Rangers had four players score at least 13, led by Deng Puoch who had 15 points, 11 rebounds, four assists, and three steals.
But despite only three bench points, four of the Eltham starters had at least 15, Owen Foxwell leading with 25 points, four rebounds, four steals, and three assists.
