Daniel Johnson signs with reigning NBL1 Central champions

Seven-time All-NBL member and 400-game veteran Daniel Johnson has signed with the South Adelaide Panthers for the 2023 NBL1 season. 

After averaging 20 points, 9.3 rebounds and five assists per game for the Forestville Eagles last season, Johnson will move to the reigning NBL1 Central champions for the 2023 season.

The Eagles lost in the Preliminary Final, as Johnson scored 16 points with eight rebounds in the heartbreaking loss. 

With the Adelaide 36ers this season, Johnson transitioned into a sixth-man role -- averaging 11 points and five rebounds for the 36ers this NBL season.

Daniel Johnson joins Codey Ellison for the Panthers men's team for the 2023 NBL1 Central season, starting on March 25.
