Athletic WNBL young gun Kiera Rowe will suit up with the Knox Raiders in the 2021 NBL1 South season.

Rowe, who spent time with the Dandenong Ranges, Southside Flyers and last year with the Sydney Uni Flames, brings a real spark to the Knox lineup.

"I have had the luxury of working with Keira in the WNBL," coach Kennedy Kereama said.

"Keira’s a great athlete who is quick and has an elite level work ethic. She does all the one percent things well - sprints lanes, cuts, spaces the floor and puts herself in great positions to score through these actions.

"I think best of all she is a great team-mate and an elite level versatile defender and rebounder with a high basketball I.Q that will help us win.”

Outside of her WNBL experience, Rowe has tasted the greatest success on the international stage.

She represented Australia at FIBA events from 2015 to 2017, including becoming a World Champion after winning the 2016 FIBA Under-17 World Championships as a Saphire.
